Rio de Janeiro
We made it across the Atlantic ocean in more or less one piece to the land of iconic South America!! Only three days were spent here which was the time it took for me to realize that I was there. I got to see Christ the Redeemer, Impanema beach and market, museums and other such buildings by famous architects such as Oscar Niemeyer and Le Corbusier. I think my favorite was seeing Christ the Redeemer. Though it was cloudy and rainy, it was really neat to just bask in the presence of one of the Seven Wonders of the World with the rain falling on you.

Not too much to do here so it's relaxing to be able to take our time strolling through the streets without having to worry about going to all the hotspots in the same day. The food and drinks are great and the weather has been BLAZIN hot and humid. Luckily there's some sort of breeze to keep us sane. I have a class field trip tomorrow and we'll be going to a sea turtle conservation center. Sounds like it'll be fun! :)
We'll be taking 7 days to get to Barbados and then Cuba will be after and believe it or not (because I definitely can't), we'll be back in the States! So until the next update, keep an eye out!
