Thank you to...
..My friends that helped me stay sane during hectic undergraduate years and for enjoying life with me in the form of crazy awesome adventures.
"We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing."
..The kids I coach over the summer for your limitless imagination and your hyperactive energy because you've allowed me to keep an open mind with a young heart and taught me that sometimes, that's all you need.
..The aquariums I volunteered at for letting me pursue my love for the marine sciences, particularly the educational aspect (teaching isn't as difficult when you like talking). From my experiences of feeding the animals in animal husbandry to wading in the shark pool, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium and Aquarium of the Pacific (AOP) have been my go-to places to volunteer when I find myself at home and have the time. During the summer of 2014, I was on marine biology knowledge overdrive and it was super great to take the knowledge I learned from one aquarium and share it with the other. I got to see what happens backstage at Cabrillo while I got to interact with the public at AOP. It was a great balance between the two and though I lost my voice in the process, it was definitely well worth it.
Most importantly, the greatest thank you goes to my Family. Thanks for supporting and helping me get this far because without you, I don't know where I'd be.
